CALEB HOWELL

A Gen Z in denial thinking he is a Millennial

I couldn't possibly talk about myself...

I am a graduate of Carson-Newman University with a bachelor's degree in communications. I am a former member of the CN men's swim team and have been since the fall of 2016. I am currently working on a summer internship with RingoFire Digital Marketing Agency in Greenville, South Carolina.

I was raised in Sumter, South Carolina from the age of 3 till the very mature, not at all confusing, age of 16. When I was going into my sophomore year of high school, my parents, my two younger siblings, and I all moved to Easley, South Carolina where I would graduate from Easley High School in 2016.

That's it for all the boring "Here is where I am, this is where I was," information.

For the readers who measure a person based off of online quizzes and "the stars", let me give you a crash course; I am a type 6 Gemini who loves words of affirmation and according to Buzzfeed, I am a golden retriever. Oh, also gay.  Those all mean that I am basically a hard-working perfectionist who is funny but stubborn and refuses to show how emotionally dependent I can be.

I have been a swimmer since 2011, swimming on a multitude of club teams (YMCA Sumter, Clemson Aquatic Team, Team Greenville). I have switched teams because I have a desire to constantly improve. Each team taught me something different and I believe the sport of swimming turned me into a person who loves hard work, setting and achieving goals, and strives to keep improving.

I am a comfortable height of 6'2, making me the perfect friend in times of clothes too high on the rack, cereal on the top shelve my mom can't reach at Walmart. And my weight is NONE of your concern.

I am an introverted extrovert. I enjoy going out with friends, going to concerts, eating everything my dietitian disagrees with and drinking coffee (preferably iced) till my hands can't stop shaking. However as much as I love to interact with my friends and teammates, I love spending time alone. Whether I am binge-watching Big Little Lies, reading books that take me months to finish, or just listening to music or singing alone in my car, I need the time to recharge alone to keep me sane.
